$6 Olay Quench Advanced Healing Intensive Lotion Knows What Sensitive Noses Like - Makeup and Beauty Blog
As much as I love Pacifica's Torso Butters, there are some days when I but don't desire to wear a scented moisturizer, like when I'grand loving on a new fragrance.
I've been wearing a couple of new scents lately and haven't wanted my body lotions to disharmonism, so when I spotted this bottle of fragrance-costless Olay Quench Avant-garde Healing Trunk Lotion ($6), I had to snap it up.
Talk about happy drugstore lotion accidents. 🙂
Olay recently revamped the bottle and the name, and so I must have plant one of the leftovers from the older packaging. The new version looks a fiddling different (aforementioned formula though) and goes by a new proper noun, Quench Advanced Healing Intensive Lotion.
I hadn't been crazy about the other lotions I've tried from Olay's Quench line because all of them had strong scents and contained mica (hello, shiny finish!), both of which Olay kept out of Avant-garde Healing. Good telephone call, methinks, because not only will sensitive schnozzes appreciate Olay's thoughtful picayune omission, but near dudes will too (I'm pretty sure El Hub'southward been using my canteen on the 'low).
Olay claims long-term use of Advanced Healing puts an end to chronically dry skin forever (which is quite a long time) by 1) restoring the natural moisture barrier to skin and ii) by keeping skin moisturized and thereby preventing dry out skin from staging a comeback.
Information technology's been my body lotion du jour for the past 2 weeks, and my skin and I accept been actually happy with it. No greasy or sticky residue, and it absorbs in the blink of an centre (a ho-hum blink, mind you lot, but you go the idea).
It wouldn't even be worth a mention, yet, if it didn't moisturize well, and I think it does.
I tin't vouch for Olay'southward claim that it puts an end to chronically dry out skin forever, simply information technology does go along ye olde dry limbs supple and soft for a practiced 24 hours at a fourth dimension.
And and then there's the awesome toll. The 11.viii oz bottle will only fix you back near $vi; the larger 20.2 oz one goes for about $10, which might get out enough change left over for an ice cream cone (yep, I haven't had desert). 🙂 Makeup and Beauty Blog Rating: A+
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,

P.S. Oh, Dreamgirls was a lot of fun this afternoon, but at present I'g pretty sleepy. It was a long drive, and traffic into and out of San Fran was typically terrible for a Sabbatum. I remember it's fourth dimension I get some shuteye…
